Revit Families a.k.a .RFA
This page is meant as a resource for visitors to go to these websites and download revit friendly content. Keep in mind these are just sites I have come accross while working in the industry and working with students that I tutor.
Revit has a few file formats that it can handle but just because its embeded in a .rfa file doesn't mean it has been prepared so it can be rendered or maybe its not a fully parametric family and it cannot be resized in any way. Sometimes these resources may not help and a custom family maybe needed because there isn't a Revit family built for it. BIM Object is my first choice and some of these otheres are more disipline specific or niche.

An oldie but somtimes has what your looking for, be careful it may have families that are not functional and maybe out of date. The site is a little slow but has a good library.
